Students may consider Nepal as a study destination for higher secondary studies, researches, camping sites, internships, language, and cultural studies or tours, wildlife studies, and many more. There are around 10 universities, Tribhuwan University is one of the top-ranked universities in Nepal. Most of the colleges in Nepal mostly emphasize degrees related to either engineering, medicine, or management. Most degree programs in Nepal are taught in Nepali which you can learn from the language institutes if you want but some private colleges offer degree programs in English as well for international students.
The study costs are known to be quite decent in Nepal. However, some universities can be quite expensive where the tuition fees for international students may go up to 8,000 USD per year. There are other universities that are cheaper which can cost you a minimum of 3000 USD per year. It can cost you about 150 USD per month to rent a one-bedroom apartment which depends on whether you live in the city or village area. Most colleges also provide dormitories or student hostels. As for food, you will spend between USD 100 and USD 150.
