Columbia University

  • A bachelor's degree with a strong foundation in subjects of economics is recommended.
  • A minimum TOEFL score of 100 overall or an IELTS score of 7.5.
  • Applicants are required to send GRE scores.

Pennsylvania State University

  • A bachelor's degree in a field related to economics with courses in microeconomics, macroeconomics, calculus, and statistics with a minimum overall GPA of 3.0 out of 4.0.
  • GRE scores are required.
  • A minimum TOEFL score of 80 overall with at least 20 in the speaking section is required for proof of English language proficiency.

Boston University

  • A bachelor's degree in economics or a closely related subject.
  • A minimum TOEFL score of 84 with no less than 21 in the individual section.
  • Applicants are required to send GRE scores with a quantitative score of more than the 80th percentile.

The New School

  • A bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
  • A minimum TOEFL score of 100 overall or PTE score of 68 or IELTS score of 7.5.

  • A bachelor's degree from an accredited institution with a minimum GPA of 2.5 out of 4.0.
