Bachelor of Architecture in the USA: Entry Requirements for international students

Portland State University

  • Must have completed a high school degree equivalent to US high school degree
  • At least 71 overall in TOEFL with no less than 15 in reading and writing or at least 6.0 in IELTS with a minimum of 6.0 in reading and writing or a PTE score of 53 overall.

Kennesaw State University

  • A high school degree with a GPA of at least 2.5
  • Minimum SAT score of 500 in reading and writing and 490 in math or ACT score of 18 in English and 18 in Math
  • For proof of English language proficiency, any of the following test scores are sufficient:
    • TOEFL score of 79 overall
    • IELTS score of 6.5 overall
    • PTE score of 58 overall
    • SAT score of 500 in Evidence-based reading and writing
    • ACT score of 18 in English or reading

University of Idaho

  • Must have obtained a GPA of at least 2.5 on a 4.0 scale in secondary school.
  • For proof of English language proficiency, any of the following is sufficient:
    • TOEFL score of at least 70
    • IELTS score of at least 6.0
    • PTE score of a minimum of 48
    • A minimum score of 550 in SAT evidence-based reading and writing

The University of Arizona

  • A GPA of at least 3.3 on a 4.0 scale in secondary school
  • SAT or ACT scores are not required but can be submitted.
  • For English language requirements: TOEFL score of at least 70 overall or IELTS score of a minimum of 6.0 or PTE score of at least 53 overall.

The University of Texas at Arlington

  • Combined SAT score of 980 or ACT score of at least 22
  • An IELTS score of 6.5 overall, a TOEFL score of 79, or a Duolingo score of 105 is required for English language proficiency.

University of Oklahoma

  • Minimum GPA of 3.0 in high school
  • Students are encouraged to send SAT or ACT scores.
