Bachelor of Nursing is a 3 to 4-year undergraduate nursing program offered by Tribhuvan University, Kathmandu University, NAMS and Purbanchal University.
This course intends to prepare beginner and middle-level nursing manpower who can take nursing roles in communities and hospitals. Students can apply to this course only after completing PCL Nursing and finishing 1-2 years of clinical experience.

Bachelor of Nursing Fee in Nepal
The fees for a Bachelor of Nursing range from NPR 3 Lakhs to NPR 7 Lakhs for the complete course. The Medical Education Commission (MEC) has set the Bachelor of Nursing Science fee as NPR 5 Lakhs for the entire course.

Eligibility Criteria
- Students must complete PCL Nursing successfully and score a minimum aggregate of 50%.
- Students need one year of minimum experience in clinical nursing after completing PCL Nursing.
- Applicants need to appear on the entrance exam conducted by KU and bring a minimum of 50 out of 100.
- Following the entrance, eligible students are called in for a personal interview by the concerned institution.
- Finally, a list of students eligible to attend the program is published by KU based on a merit list.
Bachelor in Nursing Science (BNS) KUSMUS
The Bachelor of Nursing offered by KU is four years long.
Total seats: 30
BNS Course Fees: Total tuition fees for BNS Cours is NPR 3,99,000. The breakdown of the tuition fees is as follows-
- At admission: NPR 1,66,300
- Beginning of 2nd year: NPR 1,15,800
- Beginning of 3rd year: NPR 1,16,900
The entrance examination is 3 hours and all questions are multiple-choice answer questions.
Post Basic Bachelor of Nursing in Nepal: Purbanchal University
The PBBN or PBN course offered by Purbanchal University intends to prepare competent nurses for the hospital, midwifery and community nursing sectors.
Eligibility
