Bachelor of Medicine & Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS)

The Undergraduate Medical Program, MBBS, of the Universal College of Medical Sciences, Nepal commences the classes every year from the month of November/December. It is a four and half years course of study, divided into three phases. In addition to this, students need to complete one year rotating internship too. Thus, the total duration of the program is five and half years. The medical education based on community orientation, integration and problem solving. The curriculum thus reflects an innovation in undergraduate medical education. Early exposure to Community and bedside clinical teaching not only helps learners realize the importance of the course of study, but also enables them to become motivated towards self learning.
