Bachelor of Business in Management in Nepal is a semester system course to strengthen creative thinking, decision-making, leadership and communication skills.

Requirements to study BBM in Nepal 

Students must first meet the eligibility criteria to study Bachelor of Business Management in Nepal. So, what are these needed for a Bachelor of Business Management in Nepal?

• Students need to complete the intermediate level with atleast 50%. The faculty background at 10+2 doesn’t matter, meaning students from science, management, and humanities streams can study BBM if they meet other requirements.

• Students are to appear on the CMAT Entrance Examination conducted by TU and be at least 40%.

The entrance examination to select eligible students for BBM Program is CMAT.  Central Management Admission Test/ CMAT consist of 100 objectives/ Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) and is 90 minutes long.  The questions are from 4 sections.

• Verbal Section: Vocabulary (Synonyms and Antonyms), passage, Prepositions, Idioms and Phrases.

• Quantitative Section: Remainder, Average, Ratio & Proportions, Percentage, Substitution, Defined Functions, Set Theory, Fraction and Decimal, Matrix and Determinants, Sequence, Series, Unitary Method, Indices ( Law of Indices), Digits & Age, Permutation and, Combinations, Simple and Compound interests, Profit and Loss, Commission, Taxation, and VAT, Probability (Principle of counting), Quadratic Equation, Statistics, Log & Exponent, HCF & LCM

• Logical Reasoning: Type of relations, Odd one out, Figures & Relations, Arguments & Flow Chart – Pure logic, Common sense logic & Guest logic

• General Awareness: Currency Affairs- Business and Economy, Sports, Politics, Management Theories, Science ad Literature, Interesting Facts/ Current Facts. 

Apart from the Bachelor of Business Management, the CMAT test is an integral part of admission requirements in other courses in Nepal as well as like Bachelor in Travel and Tourism Management (BTTM), Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA), Bachelor of Mountaineering Studies (BMS), Bachelor of Hotel Management (BHM), Bachelor of Information Management (BIM) and Bachelor of Public Administration (BPA).

Fee Structure of BBM in Nepal

The cost of BBM studies in Nepal differs for the constituent campus/ government colleges and private colleges. At the same time, the fees of government BBM College are approximately NPR 3.5 Lakhs for the entire course of 4 years. The fees in private BBM Colleges range from NPR 7 to 9 Lakhs depending upon the college.

The colleges in Nepal also offer Scholarships to study BBM for the students on a merit basis. Generally, on private colleges, the topper of each semester gets a 100% tuition fee waiver.

Scope of BBM in Nepal
