The entry requirement for a graduate program in Construction Management in Canada

University of Toronto

  • A four years bachelor's degree with a minimum GPA of 3.0 out of 4.0 or 75% (or mid-B equivalent)
  • A minimum TOEFL score of 93 overall with at least 22 in speaking and writing or an IELTS score of 7.0 overall with at least 6.5 in each band.

University of British Columbia

  • A bachelor’s degree of four years in civil engineering.
  • A minimum TOEFL score of 100 overall, with at least 22 in reading and listening, 21 in speaking, and 25 in writing or an IELTS score of 7.0 overall with at least 6.5 in each mode of communication.

University of Alberta

  • A bachelor's degree in civil engineering with a minimum 3.0 out of 4.0 GPA in the final two years of undergraduate study.
  • At least 88 in TOEFL with no less than 20 in each section or 6.5 in IELTS with at least 5.0 in each section or a minimum PTE score of 59.

University of Calgary

  • An undergraduate degree of four years in science, engineering, or medicine from a recognized institution.
  • A minimum score of 86 in TOEFL with no less than 20 in each section or at least 6.5 in IELTS with no band less than 6.0 or a PTE score of 59 or more is required to prove the English language requirement.

Concordia University Montréal

  • A bachelor's degree in engineering or similar background
  • At least 85 or more in TOEFL overall with no less than 20 in each section or an IELTS score of 6.5 or more with at least 5.5 in each band or PTE score of 57 overall with no less than 53 in each section.

Ryerson University

  • A bachelor's degree in civil engineering applied science or a related field with a minimum GPA of 3.0 out of 4.0 (or equivalent)
  • A minimum TOEFL score of 93 overall, or IELTS score of 7.0 or more, or a PTE score of 63.

Fanshawe College

  • A bachelor's degree of 2-3 years college diploma with a GPA of 2.5 or better.
  • At least 88 or more in TOEFL or 6.5 in IELTS with no band less than 6.0 or a PTE score of 59 or better.

Conestoga College

  • A three years diploma or bachelor's degree in civil engineering, architectural studies, or a similarly closely related field.
  • An IELTS score of 6.5 or more overall, a TOEFL score of 88 or more, or a PTE score of at least 58.

Canadore College of Applied Arts and Technology

  • An advanced diploma or a bachelor’s degree in a field closely related to construction.
  • An IELTS score of 6.0 overall with at least 5.5 in each band or a TOEFL score of 79 or more with at least 20 in each section or a PTE score of 51 or more.

Lambton College

  • A bachelor's degree in civil engineering, architectural studies, civil engineering technology, construction technology, or a similar field.
  • An IELTS score of 6.5 or more overall or a TOEFL score of 79 or more.
