Entry Requirement:

University of Sydney

  • A higher secondary education certificate with a  score of 80 to 88% or equivalent. 
  • An SAT score of 1210 or an ACT score of 24 can be used to supplement the score of higher secondary education.
  • An IELTS score of 6.5 overall with at least 6.0 in each component or a TOEFL score of 85 overall with at least 19 in writing and 17 in all other sections.

University of New South Wales

  • For applicants from India with Indian School Certificate, a score of 88% is required, with India State Board a score of 93% is required.
  • Higher secondary education from Nepal is not accepted. An SAT score of 1210 can be used for direct entry into the program.
  • An IELTS score of 6.5 overall with at least 6.0 in each section, or a TOEFL score of 90 overall with at least 23 in writing and 22 in all other sections, or a PTE score of 64 overall and 54 in each mode of communication.

University of Queensland

  • For Indian applicants, a score of 77.5 is required if applying with CBSE or CICSE certificate. 
  • If the secondary education of the applicant’s home country is not recognized, an SAT score of 1230 or an ACT score of 28 is required.
  • An IELTS score of 6.5 overall and no less than 6.0 in each band or a TOEFL score of 88 overall and at least 21 in writing and 19 in other sections or a PTE score of 64 overall with no less than 60 in each sub-bands.

Monash University

  • For applicants from India, an All India Senior School Certificate with at least 81% or Indian School Certificate Examination with at least 76% is required.
  • Applicants from countries whose secondary education is not recognized can apply with a minimum SAT score of 1270 or an ACT score of 27 along with the secondary education certificate.
  • For English language requirement: IELTS score of 6.5 overall and at least 6.0 in each band or TOEFL score of 79 overall with at least 12 in listening, 13 in reading, 18 in speaking, and 21 in writing or PTE score of 58 overall with no less than 50 in each section.

The University of Adelaide

  • For applicants from India, any of the following certificates is sufficient for eligibility.
    • All India Senior Secondary Certificate (CBSE) with at least 75%
    • Indian School Certificate (ISC) with at least 75%
    • Indian State Board Examinations with at least 85%
  • Applicants not meeting the academic requirement can apply for the pre-university pathway program for gaining entry into the undergraduate program.
  • Following test scores are sufficient for the English language requirement.
    • IELTS score of 6.5 overall and 6.0 in each band
    • TOEFL score of 79 overall and at least 13 in reading and listening, 18 in speaking, and 21 in writing.
    • PTE score of 58 overall with at least 50 in each section.

RMIT University

  • For applicants from India, All India Senior School Certificate or Indian School Certificate Examination with at least 65% or State Board of Education Certificate with at least 70%.
  • Nepalese applicants can apply with a higher secondary education certificate and certificate of completion of 1st year in a recognized university with at least 65% in that year.
  •  An IELTS score of 6.5 overall with at least 6.0 in each band or a TOEFL score of 79 overall with at least 13 in reading, 12 in listening, 21 in writing, and 18 in speaking or a PTE score of 58 overall with at least 50 in each section.

Queensland University of Technology

  • For applicants from India, All India Senior School Certificate or Indian School Certificate Examination with at least 65% or State Board of Education Certificate with at least 75% is required.
  • An applicant whose home country is not listed can also apply and will be assessed individually.
  • A minimum TOEFL score of 79 overall and at least 16 in reading and listening, 18 in speaking and 21 in writing or an IELTS score of 6.5 overall with at least 6.0 in each band or a PTE score of 58 overall with at least 50 in each band.

Griffith University

  • For applicants from Nepal, a higher education certificate or school leaving certificate with a GPA of 3.6 is required. For applicants from India, an All India Senior School Certificate or equivalent with at least 65% is required.
  • An IELTS score of 6.5 overall with no less than 6.0 in each section or a TOEFL score of 79 overall with at least 19 in each section or a PTE score of 58 overall and at least 50 in each section.

Edith Cowan University
