Master of Information Technology (Artificial Intelligence)

This course is designed to significantly extend your existing qualification and experience in the field of information technology. 
This masters degree may be completed in one of two ways, by coursework, where you complete 48 credit points or by coursework and dissertation where you complete 36 credit points in coursework and a 12-credit point dissertation.
You’ll be able to tailor your degree to meet your career goals by choosing specialisations in IT Management, Data Science or Internetworking and Security. Hear how Bruno maximised his specialisation in Data Science to gain a competitive advantage in a data-driven world. 
You’ll also have the flexibility to complete qualifications as you go, allowing you to complete the Graduate Certificate in Information Technology after one semester, or the Graduate Diploma after one year, in either Information Technology Management, Cyber Security and Networking or Artificial Intelligence and Data Science, depending on which units you select.

Master of Information Technology

Build strong expertise in IT systems management, data science, and networking and network security, as you complete units over one and half years, or longer if you’re eligible for our part-time study options.
You can complete this course by either:
Coursework – where you’ll complete 36 credit points of coursework.Coursework and dissertation – where you’ll complete 24 credit points of coursework units and a dissertation worth 12 credit points, for a total of 36 points. This option is available to you once you have completed 12 credit points of coursework and have achieved a grade point average (GPA) of 2.5 or higher.
After one year of full-time study (equivalent to 24 credit points), you could choose to graduate with a Graduate Diploma in Information Technology Management, Internetworking and Security or Data Science, depending on the units you study.

Master of Science in Information Technology

The MPhil is a 100 per cent research program. A research candidate is required to undertake a program of supervised research within the faculty resulting in the completion of a major thesis, of a maximum of 35,000 words. In fulfilling the requirements for supervised study and research at the university, a candidate is required to be present on campus at Monash University on a regular basis and to be involved in the intellectual life of the university and the Faculty.

<p>The Master of Information Technology program&nbsp;offered at the Wentworth Institute of Higher&nbsp;Education is focused on producing quality&nbsp;graduates, with industry and job ready&nbsp;knowledge and skills who are capable of&nbsp;working within the ICT industry as Developer&nbsp;Programmers. <p>The Master of Information Technology will equip students with the essential knowledge and skills that are relevant to any business to develop, implement and manage software products for commercial companies, software development companies, and government. Students will learn to manage multidisciplinary, data-driven Information Technology solutions, and develop meaningful approaches to continually evolving business applications, web-and-cloud-based systems and environments, choosing to specialise either in Business Analysis or Software Development.
