This program is designed for high achieving law students in the Bachelor of Information and Communications Technology/Bachelor of Laws program who wish to undertake an extended level of study and research in Law.

Bachelor of Information and Communications Technology / Bachelor of Laws (Honours)

This double degree will enable you to be multi-skilled in information and communications technology and law, giving you increased marketability in these diverse career fields. The Bachelor of Information and Communications Technology degree enables students to gain skills in a practice-based learning environment, to be introduced to real-world project experience, and to acquire knowledge of information and communications technology theory. The program is accredited by the Australian Computer Society and provides graduates with skills and knowledge in networking and IT applications development, along with the ability to apply practical ICT solutions in real-world situations. 
The Bachelor of Laws program satisfies the academic degree requirements for admission to practice as an Australian lawyer. Students will engage in collaborative face-to-face problem and case-based learning, will be supported by online learning materials, and will participate in authentic assessment to develop knowledge and skills.

Bachelor of Information and Communications Technology (ICT)

The Bachelor of Information Technology (BIT) offers two distinct majors—Information Systems and Cyber Security—both designed to equip students with specialized knowledge and practical skills to excel in today’s technology-driven world. The Information Systems major focuses on enhancing business processes and decision-making through the design, implementation, and management of modern information systems. Students gain a strong foundation in theoretical and practical aspects, enabling them to solve complex business problems using technology. On the other hand, the Cyber Security major delves into safeguarding digital environments and protecting critical infrastructure from cyber threats. Students develop expertise in cyber security protocols, risk management, and threat mitigation while addressing contemporary security challenges.
Both programs emphasize critical thinking, creativity, and innovation, preparing graduates for diverse career opportunities and entrepreneurial ventures. With a focus on contributing to societal advancements, graduates of these majors are well-equipped to leverage their skills to drive social, cultural, and economic progress in their respective fields.

Bachelor of Information Technology

The Bachelor of Business Information Systems (BBIS) was developed after an extensive research and consultation period to better understand the needs of business and industry and ensure that graduates will be well equipped to meet those needs. As part of the process, the College held a dialogue with a wide variety of individuals and business leaders, leading academics and professional bodies. The aim was to understand what skills, knowledge, and capabilities are needed in the current business context and those which will be essential in the emerging global economy in an era of transnational mobility.

Bachelor of Business Information Systems (BBIS)

The Bachelor of Information Technology (BIT) is designed to develop skills and knowledge that will allow graduates to enter the field of information technology. The course provides a solid base in all of the key foundational and important areas of IT, and also provides the opportunity for students to specialise and develop deep knowledge within specific areas. The BIT has been designed to meet the current and growing skill shortage in IT, particularly in the areas of computer networking and cyber security. Students may select advanced units covering key aspects of computer networks and security and graduate with a specialisation in this area. The networking units within the BIT have been designed to ensure graduates have both the knowledge and skills to design and configure large scale enterprise networks.

These units also prepare students to be ready to undertake the CISCO Certificate Network Associate exam (CCNA 200-301), that forms a key part of the CISCO set of industry certifications. The cyber security units enable students to understand the latest technologies and trends in cyber defensive strategies and ensure graduates are able to design network systems that are resilient to cyber threats.
