    Walsh University is a private Roman Catholic educational institute in North Canton, Ohio, USA. The university was established in 1960 AD by the Brothers of Christian Instruction initially as a liberal arts college.

    Walsh University is dedicated to providing its students with a values-based education with an international perspective to prepare them to become servant leaders in the Judeo-Christian tradition.     Walsh University Presidential Scholarships 

    Each year, a small number of deserving incoming freshmen are given Presidential Scholarships equal to the regular full-time tuition. Candidates who meet Walsh University's admission requirements by the specified date will be invited to the honours competition.

    Walsh University Founders' Scholarships 

    Walsh University offers Founders' Scholarships to qualifying incoming freshmen each year at an amount equal to the standard full-time tuition. Any institutional grants previously provided are replaced by this scholarship.

    Athletic Grants

    Promising athletes who agree to compete for the university in an intercollegiate sport are given athletic grants. Coaches and the Athletic Director decide on the number of awards and their dollar values.

    Band and Choir Scholarships

    This scholarship is awarded to students who will play in the university band or chorale and have exceptional vocal and/or instrumental skills. The Director chooses how many prizes will be given out. Interested students should speak with the band or chorus director.

    Freshman Application Procedure

    • Official High School Transcript: For candidates still in high school, an official transcript up to their junior year must be delivered to the address shown below. Some students might need to submit their grades from their senior year.
    • SATs not Required: If a student chooses to submit SAT I or ACT results, they may do so from their high school transcript or by requesting an official copy from the testing organisation. The ACT code for Western New England University is 1930, while the SAT code is 3962.
    • A letter of recommendation is not required.

    Transfer Students Application Procedure

    Official College Transcript(s): Students must present official transcripts for all the attempted college work (AP, IB, and CLEP credits are not considered part of the 24 credits). If not, the graduation transcript or GED score report (photocopies will not be accepted).

    International Students Application Procedure

    • Official Secondary and College Transcripts: Official secondary school transcript(s) and, if possible, an official transcript of the current grades and an English translation of the document(s).
    • English Proficiency: Applicants should show evidence of English language competence.
    • Filled and signed the Affidavit of Support form.
    • CV and Letters of recommendation may or may not be required.
