Vinod Gupta School of Management was established in 1993 as a one-of-a-kind endeavour among Indian Institutes of Technology. VGSoM, a management school under IIT Kharagpur, absorbed the parent Institute's research and quality teaching cultures. Since its founding more than 25 years ago, the school has evolved holistically, receiving several awards and setting new standards of excellence.
