Vinod Gupta School of Management was established in 1993 as a one-of-a-kind endeavour among Indian Institutes of Technology. VGSoM, a management school under IIT Kharagpur, absorbed the parent Institute's research and quality teaching cultures. Since its founding more than 25 years ago, the school has evolved holistically, receiving several awards and setting new standards of excellence. Today, VGSoM is a pioneer in developing tomorrow's leaders by combining management philosophy with technical innovation to generate managers who understand both essential technological concerns and their commercial ramifications. VGSoM now offers five programs, beginning with its flagship Master of Business Administration. The Executive MBA program is based in Kolkata and attracts working executives from the country's eastern area.
