For the first two academic years of the MBBS program, the college offers departments of Clinical Biochemistry, Clinical Pharmacology, Clinical Physiology, Community Medicine, Forensic Medicine, Human Anatomy, Medical Microbiology, and Pathology. In the remaining four and  half years of the MBBS program, the departments of Anesthesiology, Dental, Dermatology, Emergency, Medicine, Obstetrics & Gynecology, Ophthalmology, Orthopedics, Otorhinolaryngology, Pediatrics, Psychiatry, Radiology, and Surgery teach medical students in their respective wards and outpatient departments in addition to providing medical care to patients from their departments at NMCTH on all working.

    Nepal Medical College provides a complete clinical laboratory, radiology, operating rooms, casualty services, intensive care units, critical care units, neonatal intensive care units, hemodialysis services, and ambulance services that offer round-the-clock medical treatment. 

    Facilities for Holter, Pulmonary Function Tests, Gastroendoscopy, Colonoscopy, Bronchoscopy, Ultrasonography, and TMT are regularly accessible. It is possible to conduct specific investigations in biochemistry, hematology, microbiology, and pathology at the corresponding departments, which are staffed and outfitted to provide academic, scientific, and medical services.

    Eligibility criteria for MBBS and BDS courses:

    • Candidates for M.B.B.S. admission must have finished their +2 in Science with a minimum of 50% in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology. 
    • Candidates must also pass an admission examination administered by the Institute of Medicine, TU.

    Eligibility criteria for MD/MS/MDS courses:

    • MBBS/BDS or a degree in medicine equivalent from a reputable institution.
    • The applicant must have finished their internships and registered with the medical council.
    • After completing the relevant bachelor's courses, MN/MPH candidates must have a minimum of two years of teaching or clinical experience.

    Eligibility criteria for Nursing program courses:

    • Candidates for M.B.B.S. admission must have finished their +2 in Science with a minimum of 50% in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology. 
    • Only female candidates can apply for the program.
