    Hansraj College is one of the University of Delhi's major constituent institutions. On July 26, 1948, the D.A.V. Institution Managing Committee established the college in the hallowed memory of Maharshi Dayanand Saraswati and Mahatma Hansraj, who spent their glorious lives stressing the significance of knowledge. It is now one of the brightest stars in the D.A.V. family of over 700 institutions.

    Hansraj College is a prestigious educational and research institution. It has highly competent academics who teach Science, Commerce, and Arts to over 5000 students on its registers at the undergraduate and graduate levels. The college has continuously shown remarkable achievement in academics, sports, and extracurricular activities.

    Financial help is granted to Hansraj College graduate and postgraduate students in the form of a specific academic prize depending on academic success.
