Edith Cowan University (ECU) is a public university in Western Australia. It is dedicated after Edith Cowan, the first woman elected to an Australian parliament, and is Australia's only university designated after a woman. ECU was founded in 1991 and has quickly evolved into a high-quality institution with high student satisfaction and internationally recognized research.
