Birendra Multiple Campus was founded on the 1st of Baishakh, 2022 BS. as 'Birendra Intermediate Arts College,' named after late King Birendra, with the commencement and endeavors of intellectuals, social workers, guardians, donors, and local organizations feeling the need of an academic institution of higher education for the district's rising population after Chitwan was opened for settlement in 2011 BS.

The college was competent enough to undertake Bachelor's level studies, which began in 2035. In 2040, the institution began its I.Sc. program and became the district's first multiple campuses. The college is growing both physically and intellectually. The college made significant academic strides in this setting, beginning Masters Level in Economics in 2045, B.Sc. in 2050, and M.A. (Nepali) in 2053. Since then, various Bachelor's and Master's Level programs have been added one after the other without pause.

Birendra Multiple Campus provides Bachelor's and Master's degree programs in science, administration, humanities, and social sciences. All programs have a median amount of students enrolled. The campus has offered 24 Bachelor's degrees and 8 Master's degrees.

The campus's basic infrastructure has been enlarged onto 19 Bighas of land with various structures. • B.Sc: To qualify for Tribhuvan University's Bachelor of Science (B.Sc) General program, the candidate must have finished 10+2 or equivalent examinations (with Biological Stream) with a minimum 'C' mark in all courses.
• M.Sc: Candidates seeking admission to the M. Sc. Degree must have a B. Sc. degree from Tribhuvan University (TU) with a major in Chemistry or an equivalent degree from a university recognized by the TU. They must have passed the Department's Entrance Examination. 
• MA: Students with a bachelor's degree in Nepali from any Tribhuvan University-accredited university are eligible to apply.
