About

On this course you’ll examine international development while establishing strong foundations in micro and macro economics.

You’ll acquire the ability to think like an economist about important world issues, using data and becoming familiar with models of how the world works. You’ll study microeconomics and macroeconomics.

You’ll also explore definitions of economic development, and investigate the relationship between poverty, economic development and trade theories, exclusion and deprivation.

You’ll address economic and broader socio-political processes, explore the relationship between economy and the environment in different world regions, and examine globalisation and its effects.
