If you want to study engineering at the undergraduate level in Nepal, you must take and pass the Engineering Entrance Exam. Additionally, you must bring a passing/competitive score depending on the university you wish to attend.
This article will assist you in comprehending the necessary information regarding the Engineering Entrance Exam in Nepal.
Overview: About Engineering Entrance Preparation
The Institute of Engineering administers T.U. entrance exams (IOE). The universities themselves administer the entrance tests for the other universities.
Eligibility Criteria to appear in the Entrance examination:
- Candidates must pass +2
- Equivalent exam from the Higher Secondary Education Board (HSEB)
- Obtain a minimum of 40-45% in Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics
- Completed required documentation
Exam Format & Subject Matter:
The majority of engineering entrance exams contain multiple papers. Most of the exam paper is divided into questions on physics, chemistry, English, and mathematics, as well as general knowledge sections in some universities. This paper's primary goal is to assess students' understanding of concepts in physics, maths, chemistry, English, and mechanics.
Engineering entrance exams assess students' understanding of concepts in physics, maths, chemistry, English, and mechanics. The paper uses a variety of patterns to assess the student's abilities. Questions include objective-type questions, statements and reasons, understanding, and a subjective pattern.
Join Learnsic to study Engineering Entrance Preparation
It is tough to gain admission to an IOE constituent or affiliated college. Pulchowk Campus, a constituent institution of IOE, is the most challenging college to get into.
There are a variety of educational consultancies that offer Entrance entrance exam preparation sessions, especially for (IOE). The class duration is about 2 to 10 months. You can use an online platform like Learnsic for a better exam preparation experience.
Learnsic is an online platform that helps students learn and prepare for tests and exams. Some of the benefits of joining the learnsic for Bridging course are:
- Since the session is live and interactive, students can clear their doubts and queries during the session.
- Learnsic offers high-quality study materials
- It also provides updated daily study information prepared by experts
- Students can also attain a bridge course certificate without attending physical classes
- Flexible learning sessions with frequent Q&A sessions as well
- Through learnsic, students can enjoy the knowledge share through different online platforms
- Also, learning bridge courses through learnsic is comparatively cheaper than physical courses as it charges about NPR 2100 only.
