Admission Process for Bachelor of Political Science in India

Depending upon institute to institute, the exact steps for the admission process could differ. Nevertheless, this is a summary of the entire process for students. 


To be eligible for admission, students must first meet the following criteria. 

  • Students need to pass +2 level (any discipline like humanities, sciences, management etc.) from a recognized board in India or its international equivalent with a minimum of 50%. 
  • If the institution you are applying for conducts an entrance examination, applicants need to sit on the entrance test and atleast attain the cut-off scores. 
  • If you are an international student from an English non-speaking country, some universities like Christ University could ask for IELTS Score. The minimum IELTS score is 6.0 with no band score less than 5.5

If you are NRI / PIO / OCI / SAARC / AFRICA / ASEAN / or national of any other country, these are the additional documents need to submit to study BA in Political Science in India.
