Bachelor of Engineering in India: Eligibility Criteria

  • Candidates need to pass the class 12 exam from a recognized board in India or abroad with PCM- Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics- as core subjects. 
  • Applicants need to score a minimum of 60% in intermediate level/ +2.
  • Candidates need to appear on the respective entrance test depending on the college or board that they are applying to. 

Bachelor of Engineering Entrance exams

  • JEE Main
      • JEE Main is one of the most popular engineering entrance exams in India. 
      • It is conducted by National  Testing Agency (NTA). 
  • JEE Advanced
      • It is conducted once a year by the seven zonal IITs with guidance from the Joint Admission Board (JAB).
      • To be eligible to appear in JEE Advanced, you need to top 2.5 Lakhs rank holders of JEE Main. 
  • It is conducted by Birla Institute of Technology and Science (BITS)
      • Students need to take BITSAT Exam to study in programs offered by BITS Campuses.
