General Requirements for Master of Pharmacy in Australia

University of Tasmania

  • A master’s degree with research on a relevant field or a bachelor’s degree with professional experience or a published paper

  • For proof of English language proficiency, any of the following is required:

    • IELTS score with 7.0 overall and at least 6.5 in all bands

    • TOEFL score with 94 overall and a minimum of 24 in speaking and writing and 20 in listening and speaking

    • PTE score of 65 overall and at least 58 in all sections

  • A bachelor's degree in a relevant field (biomedical science. Pharmaceutical science, biomedical engineering, etc.) with at least 60% marks

  • IELTS score of at least 6.5 overall and at least 6 in each band or TOEFL score of 79 overall and at least 21 in writing, 18 in speaking, 12 in listening, and 13 in reading or PTE score of 58 overall and no less than 50 in each sub-bands

University of Canberra

  • Bachelor’s degree in any field with at least one subject in biochemistry, chemistry, anatomy, microbiology, physiology, and pharmacology.

  • IELTS score of 7.0 overall and in each band or TOEFL score of 94 with 24 in reading and listening, 23 in speaking, and 27 in writing or PTE score of 65 overall and in each band.
