The Institution of Wales Trinity Saint David, or UWTSD, is a career-focused university that equips students with the information and skills they need to succeed after graduation. It has three main campuses in Wales: Carmarthen, Lampeter, and Swansea. Everyone is part of a welcoming community.

UWTSD provides small class sizes and high-quality instruction from lecturers involved in research or industry. Students investigate and study the theory around their topic while learning abilities to help them find work.

At UWTSD, tradition and innovation coexist. After Oxford and Cambridge, the institution possesses the UK's oldest Royal Charter and will mark the 200th anniversary of its founding as St David's College in 2022. It is a forward-thinking, inclusive school that allows anybody who may benefit from a university degree to realize their full potential.

The University of Wales Trinity Saint David is a multi-campus university in South West Wales, with three main campuses in Carmarthen, Lampeter, and Swansea, the fourth campus in London, England, and learning centers in Cardiff, Wales, and Birmingham, England.

Under Lampeter's royal charter of 1828, the university was formed in 2010 by merging the two oldest higher education institutions in Wales, the University of Wales, Lampeter, and Trinity University College (TUC). Trinity Saint David stated in 2011 that it would combine with the University of Wales. The university amalgamated with Swansea Metropolitan University on August 1, 2013.

King Charles III, as Prince of Wales, supported the university. R. Brinley Jones is the President, while Medwin Hughes is the Vice-Chancellor.

One of the most notable benefits offered by the university is individualized attention given to each student. It welcomes these students into an intellectually engaging environment where they can prepare for the jobs of their dreams. As a result, it attracts the best students from all over the world.

Graduate and undergraduate students are given early access to opportunities to participate in hands-on research by faculty members and departments. This allows students to supplement their education by collaborating with researchers on the cutting edge of their fields.
