United Technical College, College of Engineering, or (U-TEC), was founded as a private sector initiative in 2008 (2065 BS). The college is located in Bharatpur-11, U-TEC Chowk, Bharatpur.

United Technical College (U-TEC) was founded by a group of foresighted professionals and academicians who recognized the need for a college to provide technical education outside the valley. Most university-level engineering education in the private sector was focused on the capital. As a result, it was critical to establish technical colleges outside the capital to reach a more significant segment of Nepali youth outside the valley and make performance technical education accessible and affordable to the poor and deprived youths in the region, which U-TEC did by establishing the first private engineering school in Chitwan.

United Technical College (U-TEC) facility is in Bharatpur Metropolitan City, Ward No.-11, Bhojad, U-TEC Chowk, Chitwan. It is built on 20 Ropanies (1.0 ha) of land and has physical and institutional resources. These resources primarily serve the academic needs of bachelor's and master's level programs.

United Technical College, affiliated with Pokhara University, offers a full-time Bachelor of Civil Engineering, Computer Engineering, and Electrical and Electronics Engineering degree. This college's graduate program is an M.Sc. in Construction Management. The graduates of the college gain skill, expertise, and knowledge in higher technology and design. The university strictly adheres to the industry-driven project work, research and development, and learning outlined by the university to improve academic quality. As a result, U-TEC offers graduates unconditional opportunities to pursue engineering degrees with passion and confidence.
