    Trinity Western Institution (TWU) is a Christian-affiliated private liberal arts university with campuses in both Langley and Richmond in British Columbia. The institution is affiliated with Universities Canada as a member institution.

    TWU was founded in 1962 and had a campus that spans 157 acres (64 ha) in a suburban-rural setting close to the historic settlement of Fort Langley in British Columbia. The university has roughly 4,000 students enrolled.

    Trinity Western University is the largest privately funded Christian university in Canada. It has a curriculum that is broad-based in liberal arts, sciences, and professional studies. The university also provides 45 undergraduate majors and 17 graduate and post-graduate programs.

    The classrooms at TWU have a student-to-faculty ratio of 16:1, an average class size of 37 students for first-year students, and an average class size of 15 students overall.

    Thanks to the Norma Alloway Library, students can access various materials, such as print volumes, electronic articles, microform, and periodicals. The library is conveniently located next to the student center, providing access to several separate quiet study locations and private group study rooms.

    The leisure amenities on campus include a complete gym, playing fields, and tennis courts. Robson Hall is the location of many different types of exercise courses. In addition, Recreation Services provides students of all skill levels with the opportunity to participate in a wide range of different team sports.

    Recreation Services encourages and facilitates student-led health activities on campus, including intramurals, club teams, special events, group workouts, and equipment rentals.

    The Royal Society of Canada has granted membership to Trinity Western University. U Sports comprises the school's top-tier athletic programs, referred to as the Spartans.
