    Tampere University of Applied Sciences (Finnish: Tampereen ammattikorkeakoulu, TAMK) is a polytechnic university in the Pirkanmaa area of Finland. It is a  public higher education university. TAMK is part of the Tampere higher education community, including Tampere University.

    Tampere University of Applied Science's main campus is three kilometers (1.9 miles) from the city center of Tampere. Tampere University has three minor campuses: Mediapolis, Music Academy, and Proakatemia.

    The Tampere University of Applied Science is Finland's second-largest research university. The institution provides degree programs at all academic levels, from bachelor's to doctoral. Technology, health, and society are key focus areas in multidisciplinary university research and teaching. The two universities have long had significant links, with regular collaboration in computer science, biotechnology, and medical technology.

    Scholarships

    Tampere University of Applied Science seeks out students that thrive academically and are motivated. The  University scholarships are intended for students who must pay tuition for English-taught Bachelor's and Master's degree programs.

    Tampere University of Applied Science tuition fee scholarships is awarded when enrolling and cover 100% of the tuition fees for the duration of the program. The curriculum is three years long for Bachelor's degrees, two years for Master's degrees, and five years for combined Bachelor's and Master's degrees.

    In addition to scholarships, any fee-paying students awarded a Tampere University of Applied Science tuition fee or a Finland scholarship at the time of admission are eligible for an early bird offer. The early bird discount gives a 50% reduction in the program tuition price for the first year of study.

    Furthermore, Finland scholarships cover the first year of program tuition and a 5000 € relocation reward, which is deposited to the student's Finnish bank account when the student arrives in Tampere and begins studies at the Tampere University of Applied Science.

    Application Process

    • The applicant must meet the general and program-specific eligibility criteria for the program to which they desire to apply. Students are permitted to apply to three programs at once.
    • Students must take a language test and require minimum results:
      • TOEFL iBT and TOEFL iBT online (Home Edition): Overall 92, with no section below 20.
      • IELTS Academic/IELTS Academic online version: 6.5 overall with no section below 5.5.
      • Academic PTE: Overall score of 62, with no section in Communicative Skills below 42.
    • The application procedure may be completed online, with applicants uploading all relevant files and submitting educational documents.
    • Wait for the admissions results to be revealed before preparations for arrival in Finland if accepted.
    • Finally, students must register as students and become members of the Tampere University community.
