    Accreditation

    SMIC is registered on the Commonwealth Register of Institutions and Courses for Overseas Students (CRICOS), allowing it to accept international students with study visas to study in Australia. Its programs are recognised nationwide in Australia under the VET Quality Framework, the ESOS Act, and the National Code 2018. SMIC is a Registered Training Provider with the Australian Skills Quality Authority (ASQA) (RTO – 45523). It provides Business Administration courses that adhere to the Australian Qualifications Framework.

    SMIC offers 6 courses through its three schools:

    • School of Information Technology and Engineering
    • School of Management and Leadership.

    What is the enrolment fee for international students?

    The enrolment fee is $200 and is non-refundable.

    What are the prices for studying at the college?

    The prices are determined by the courses you apply for. The certificate program costs $9000 per annum, the business program ranges from $9000 - $12000, and IT courses cost $12000 - $18500 per year.

    Can I work as a student in Australia?

    You can put in 40 per week during course sessions and unlimited hours outside program sessions. This is to ensure that you are concentrating on your academics.

    Where is the college located?

    SMIC is located in the booming Burwood neighbourhood, a transportation centre about 15 minutes by train from Sydney's CBD and home to a large and diverse ethnic community.

    Is it necessary for me to meet the language requirements?

    Yes, the candidate must meet the language standards outlined above in the section on language requirements. IELTS, TOEFL, & PTE tests are recognised.
