    One of the 17 institutions maintained by the trust is Sri Ramakrishna Engineering College (SREC), Coimbatore, founded in 1994 by SNR Sons Charitable Trust. In the fields of Aeronautical, Biomedical, Civil, Mechanical, Electronics and Communication, Electrical and Electronics, Electronics and Instrumentation, Information Technology, Computer Science and Engineering, Robotics and Automation, Artificial Intelligence and Data Science, and M.Tech Computer Science and Engineering (5 Year Integrated), SREC offers 12 undergraduate programs. 

    Seven of the B.E./B.Tech. Programs have been approved and re-certified by the National Board of Accreditation, New Delhi, since 2003, including Sri Ramakrishna Engineering College, which NAAC reaccredited with an "A+" rating. Currently, the university has over 4400 students enthusiastically supervised by 271 faculty members, 104 of whom possess doctorates, and 105 are seeking doctorates. AICTE, DST, CSIR, DRDO, and other funding organisations provide an average of Rs. 3.4 crore annually to the campus also receives financing from DST-FIST, DST-INSPIRE, and DST-NST MIS annually.

    The departments collaborate on projects and management development programs with the industries, including L&T, Bi-Metal Bearings, Roots Industries, Tech Mahindra, and other businesses. Machine vision systems, finite element analysis, 3D printing, computational fluid dynamics, predictive analytics, virtual instrumentation, etc., are some of the fields of collaboration.

    With an opening cutoff score of 196.5 and a closing cutoff score of 189, the quality of the students admitted to our programs is pretty good. Beginning in the second semester, students receive training in communication skills. To prepare students for the industry, they are also offered technical value addition in pertinent areas of interest. The B.E./B.Tech. The curriculum requires students to do an internship in or for a company. For three to six months, students work with companies including Pricol Technologies, L&T, Ashok Leyland, TAFE, TVS, Ford India Pvt. Ltd., and Mahindra and Mahindra.

    With a yearly campus recruiting rate of about 82%, the placement performance of the students is impressive. Along with all the IT giants like Infosys, Wipro, CTS, Accenture, Tech Mahindra, and others, the students have been employed in prestigious firms like Saint Gobain, the Sanmar group of enterprises, the Murugappa group, L &T, and others. Through a robust alumni network and chapters in Chennai and Bangalore, alumni in various roles support their alma institution.
