Silver Mountain School of Hotel Management (SMSH) is Nepal's first teaching hotel school, with state-of-the-art classrooms, a restaurant, a coffee academy, an oenology (wine academy), a bar, a kitchen, a reception area, a seminar room, a meeting room, a housekeeping mock-up room, a locker room, a library, and so on. The college is one of the leading institutes in tourist and hotel management studies, founded to provide world-class education.

The Silver Mountain School of Hotel Management runs the Silver Mountain Training Hotel to provide students with a realistic experience while exposing them to classroom learning. The training hotel has nine rooms, two restaurants, a bar, and a roof-top bar area where students can practise their hospitality skills with paying customers.

Documents required:

• Interested candidates must have a +2 diploma with a minimum GPA of 1.8 and a D in all subjects.
• CBSE and Indian board students may also apply for BHM and Culinary courses but must first obtain an equivalency letter from the Curriculum Development Department.
• A level pass student with 3.5 credit points may also apply.
• Students must take an entrance exam, followed by two interviews.
• The outcome of an entrance exam is solely at the discretion of the college administration.
• Language score in English.
• Certificate of good health and character.
