Saptagandaki Multiple Campus (SMC), founded in 1988 (2045 BS), is a premier community college affiliated with Tribhuwan University. It is located in the central development region of Nepal, Bharatpur Municipality, Chitwan.
Saptagandaki Multiple Campus was founded by a group of renowned academicians, social workers, prominent politicians, and members of the general public from society. The campus aims to provide quality education to students from underprivileged and marginalized communities and middle-class backgrounds. SMC has grown in size and reputation to become one of Nepal's leading higher learning institutions in a relatively short period.
Saptagandaki Multiple Campus instills in students values such as compassion, selflessness, devotion, love for fellowmen, and a thirst for knowledge and wisdom, preparing them for the challenges of today's competitive world. SMC offers classes in various streams and disciplines ranging from Post SLC to Master's Degree levels in three shifts from dusk to dawn.
Graduate programs at Saptagandaki Multiple Campus include Bachelor of Arts (BA), Business Studies (BBS), Education (BEd), Science (B.Sc), and Computer Application (BCA), as well as Master of Business Studies (MBS), MA in Rural Development, and Master of Education (M.Ed) programs, are conducted at this college under affiliation with Tribhuvan University (TU). Also, 10+2 Management, Science, Humanities, and Education are held with Nepal Education Board (NEB) affiliation.
Saptagandaki Multiple Campus's students have previously achieved TU Board top positions in B.Ed. and M.Ed. exams, and several students have reached excellent performance in BBS and MBS levels of Management Faculty. Many more of our students have also achieved excellent results in NEB exams. These indicators demonstrate that SMC has provided high-quality education in the field of teaching.

Saptagandaki Multiple Campus (SMC) awards scholarships to poor and genuine students, disabled students, children of martyrs, and students from marginalized groups.

Application Process
Eligibility criteria for Bachelor of Computer Application (BCA):
Minimum D+ in each subject in grades 11 and 12, with a CGPA of 2.0 or higher. Or, A minimum of second division marks in 10+2, PCL, or equivalent in any discipline is required. Or, Students who have completed grade 11 and are awaiting the results of grade 12 supplementary exam (Purak Pariksha) may also apply. They must, however, submit all necessary documentation during admission.
Eligibility criteria for BSc (Environment):
The candidate must have completed 10+2 or equivalent examinations (with Biological Stream) with a minimum 'C' grade in all subjects.
Eligibility criteria for Bachelors of Arts (BA):
Students must have received at least a D+ in all subjects in Grades 11 and 12. Or, Must have completed the intermediate, Proficiency Certificate, or 10+2 level in Humanities, Science, or Management from Tribhuvan University or any other University or Board recognized by Tribhuvan University.
Eligibility criteria for Bachelor of Business Studies (BBS) and Bachelor of Information Management (BIM):
Students who have passed the 10+2 or equivalent examinations from recognized academic institutes with a second division (45% or higher) or a 1.8 CGPA are eligible to apply for this program.
Eligibility criteria for Bachelors in Education (B.Ed):
Students who have passed 10+2 or equivalent examinations with a minimum 'D+' grade in all Grade 11 and 12 subjects can enroll in B.Ed program.
Documents required for bachelors program:
- Transcript and individual mark sheet of 10+2.
- Character, Provisional, and Migration certificate of SEE/SLC and 12th grade.
- Transcript of SEE/SLC.
Eligibility for Admission to Master in Arts (MA), Business Studies (MBS), Education (MEd):
Candidates interested in applying to the Saptagandaki Multiple Campus graduates' program should have completed at least 15 years of formal education (12 years of schooling plus three years of graduation).
The applicant must also have a minimum CGPA of 2.0, or 45 percent, at the bachelor's level.
Documents required for graduate programs:
- Copies of all academic transcripts with attestations and character certificates (SLC onwards).
- Original Migration Certificate of Bachelors degree (If any academic degree from a foreign university, a copy of the equivalent certificate).
- Copy of citizenship with attestation.
- Recent passport-size photos in two copies.
