Sahid Narayan Pokharel Ramapur Campus is a premier public university in Nepal's Lumbini Zone, in the Rupandehi district, 17 kilometers west of Butwal and 18 kilometers north of Lumbini, the birthplace of Gautam Buddha. It has its buildings and land in the heart of Sainamaina, a newly formed historical municipality nestled in the lap of the gorgeous Churia Hills near the Eastwest Highway.
Sahid Narayan Pokharel Ramapur Campus was formed in 2060 by B.S. under Tribhuwan University (TU) to give students from Rupandehi and neighboring districts access to higher education. The primary goal of the campus is to provide access to higher education for underprivileged, marginalised, and deprived indigenous people such as janajati, madeshi, and dalit. It began with 19 students in small classrooms at Rampur Higher Secondary School.
Sahid Narayan Pokharel Ramapur Campus has experienced above-average growth; at this time, it has 675 students and significant physical facilities. It is considered a leading position in the country's educational landscape and the region. Application Process
Eligibility for Admission to Bachelor of Business Studies (BBS) and Bachelor of Education (BEd):
Students must have completed 12 years of formal education, or its equivalent, from a board or institution that is recognised, with a minimum cumulative GPA of 45%.
Documents Required:
- Transcript and individual mark sheet of 10+2.
- Character, Provisional, and Migration certificate of SEE/SLC and 12th grade.
- Transcript of SEE/SLC.
Eligibility for Admission to Master in Education (MEd):
Candidates interested in applying to the graduates' program at Sahid Narayan Pokharel Ramapur Campus should have finished at least 15 years of formal education (12 years of schooling plus three years of graduation).
The applicant must also have a minimum CGPA of 2.0, or 45 per cent, at the bachelor's level.
