Royal Roads University (RRU) is a publicly funded higher learning institution situated in the Canadian community of Colwood, British Columbia. It was once known as Royal Roads Military College before gaining university status.

The university is a member of the International Association of Universities and the Canadian Bureau for International Education. The university library includes a sizable collection of printed and digital materials for overseas students on its 565-acre main campus.

The University library consists of over 100 online databases, 55,000 e-books, and 48,000 print books exist. Admission is available to various undergraduate, graduate, and doctorate programs. Additionally, certificate and diploma programs are offered on-campus, online, or in a hybrid format.

The institution strongly emphasizes offering education in tourism, hospitality, environmental studies, sustainability, executive education, and interdisciplinary and leadership studies.
