Application Process
Eligibility for Admission for Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) program:
Candidates for admission to Purbanchal University’s BBA program must have completed 12 years of formal education or 10+2 or equivalent exams with a minimum of 40% overall or a 2 CGPA (with atleast D+ in a particular subject).
They must also have at least 40% on Purbanchal University Common Management Admission Test (CMAT) exam.
Eligibility for Admission for BSc Information Technology (BSc IT) program:
The pass mark for the entrance exam is 35 out of a possible 100 full points, which includes all of the courses from Intermediate/10+2 level or equivalent, including English, Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry.
Documents required for bachelor's program:
- Two current PP-sized pictures.
- Equivalency, transfer, and character certificates of SEE/SLC and 10+2.
- Grade sheet of CMAT entrance examination conducted by the college.
Eligibility for Admission for the Master in Business Administration (MBA) program:
Candidates interested in applying for the MBA program should have completed at least 15 years of formal education (12 years of schooling plus three years of graduation).
The applicant must also have a minimum CGPA of 2.0, or 45 percent, at the bachelor's level.
Eligibility for Admission for MSc in Information Technology (MScIT) program:
Candidates must have earned their bachelor's degree from a recognized institution in one of the following fields: BSc in IT/CS, BCA, BE/BTech in IT or CS, or BCom with IT as a topic.
Documents required for Masters program:
- Admission application form, completed and signed.
- Copies of all academic transcripts with attestations and character certificates of SLC/SEE, 10+2 and bachelors.
- Original Migration Certificate of Bachelors degree (If any academic degree from a foreign university, a copy of the equivalent certificate).
- Copy of citizenship with attestation.
- Recent passport-size photos in two copies.
