Application Process

PCL Nursing 

  • English, science, and mathematics in the second division (45%) of the School Leaving Certificate (SLC) or a SEE with a minimum GPA of 2.0 and a C in the subjects of mandatory mathematics, English, and science
  • Candidates must have completed the CTEVT entrance test.
  • Candidates who meet the requirements will be chosen for admission based on merit.
  • A student is qualified to apply for the CTEVT's standard entrance test if they have passed or anticipate passing SEE before the session.

BSc Nursing

  • The applicant must have earned a Proficiency Certificate in Nursing from a reputable institution with a minimum cumulative grade point average of 50%.
  • After registering with the Nepal Nursing Council, the candidate must have at least a year of nursing practice experience.
  • The Institute of Medicine selects students for the program based on the merit list of the entrance exams and open house counseling.

Bachelor of Public Health (BPH)

  • Intermediate in Science (ISC), Higher Secondary Level (10+2 Science streams) in biology, Proficiency Certificate Level (PCL, Science), Certificate in Health Sciences, or similar as approved by the relevant University/authorized authority with at minimum 50% marks or equivalent grade score.
  • In addition to the fundamental academic requirements, all applicants must pass an entrance exam with a minimum score of 50% to be admitted.
  • Candidates need to pass the entrance examination conducted by Purwanchal University (PU).
  1. Post-Basic Bachelor in Nursing (PBBN):
  • PCL Nursing with 2 Years of work experience and 2nd Division.
  • Physically and mentally fit.
  • Must Pass the Entrance exam conducted by Purbanchal University with at least 50% marks.

  1. Photocopy of Marksheets and Character certificates of SLC and 10+2 or ISc.
  2. Photocopy of Migration and Provisional Certificate of 10+2 or ISc.
  3. Photocopy of Citizenship Certificate.
  4. PP size Photographs.
  5. Duly filled admission Form.
