The College of New Caledonia (CNC) is a post-secondary educational institution that serves the inhabitants of British Columbia's Central Interior.
This region has a population of around 145,000 people and three school districts: #28 (Quesnel), #57 (Prince George), and #91. (Nechako Lakes). CNC has campuses in Prince George, Burns Lake, Fort St. James, Mackenzie, Quesnel, and Vanderhoof, among others.
CNC maintains modest class sizes of no more than 37 students, as their faculty agreement requires.
CNC enrolls around 5,000 students yearly in health sciences, trades, university studies, job access, and continuing education.

History
The institution was founded in 1969 as a successor to the B.C. Vocational School in Prince George, British Columbia, Canada (53.905°N 122.782°W). The institution was named "New Caledonia," after the location designated by early explorer Simon Fraser.
In 1971, the inaugural convocation of 37 graduates was held. CNC has now grown by establishing campuses around central British Columbia.
On June 4, 1996, the College of New Caledonia's Arms, Supporters, Flag, and Badge were registered with the Canadian Heraldic Authority.
