Nepal College of Travel & Tourism Management (NCTTM) was founded in 1995. It is at Uttardhoka, Lazimpat, Kathmandu. Since its inception, NCTTM has offered an undergraduate program in travel and tourism through Tribhuvan University's Faculty of Management.

Tribhuvan University has accepted the request to conduct the bachelor of Travel and Tourist Management (BTTM) at the bachelor's level to meet the needs of Nepal's tourism sector. This year marks a landmark moment in Nepal's tourism-related education history.

After operating BTTM for nine years, the necessity to launch another tourism sector program, a master's in tourism management (MTM), became apparent, and Nepal College of Travel & Tourism Management (NCTTM) submitted an expression of interest (EOI) to Tribhuvan University in 2007. It was associated with Tribhuvan University in 2008 to administer the MTM program. After 12 years of BTTM, NCTTM obtained the opportunity to extend a bachelor's degree in Hotel Management (BHM) under affiliation with Tribhuvan University in 2010.

In 2012, NCTTM established a sister company, NCTTM Event and Training Management Pvt. Ltd., to produce talented human resources, primarily for the tourist industry.

Students who want to study BTTM or BHM at Nepal College of Travel & Tourism Management (NCTTM) must undergo a fair yet comprehensive admissions procedure.

Only 40 students in Master of Travel and Tourism Management (MTTM) and Pre-Diploma in Culinary Arts, and 84 Bachelor of Travel and Tourism Management (BTTM) and Bachelor of Hotel Management (BHM) students are chosen.

BTTM and BBM admissions process and documents required:

Two rounds of admission examinations are used to examine students interested in joining BHM. Interested applicants should show up for the preliminary round of Tribhuvan University's CMAT test. To sit in this test, candidates must complete an application and submit the required documentation, which includes:

• SLC/SEE mark sheet and character reference.
• Transcript, character certification, and migration 10+2 certificate.
• Two most current passport-size images.

Master of Travel and Tourism Management (MTTM) admissions process and documents required:

Master of Travel & Tourism Management (MTTM) Eligibility Criteria:

• BTS, BA (Tourism), and B.Sc. Hospitality & Hotel Administration (BHM); Bachelor's in Hotel Management (AICTE-approved); and individuals with a Graduation in any subject and a Diploma in Tourism recognized by the University system or by AICTE.

Or,

• A bachelor's degree in any discipline is required. During their studies, however, all students must complete four additional courses.

Candidates should complete an application and submit the required documentation, which includes:

• Bachelor's Degree Transcript.
• Provisional/degree/convocation certificate for a bachelor's degree (Anyone).
• Transcript +2.
• SLC grade sheet.
• Citizenship (if the date of birth is in AD) or a valid passport.
