The Manmohan Memorial Institute of Health Sciences (MMIHS) was founded in 2007 to advance health science education and institutionalise the contributions of the late Manmohan Adhikari, a great patriot and well-known figure in South Asian politics.

As the Ministry of Health and Population permitted, the campus features a 300-bed Manmohan Memorial Medical College & Teaching Hospital in Swayambhu. Manmohan Memorial Medical College & Teaching Hospital seeks to make top-notch healthcare accessible to all Nepalese residents while utilising contemporary medical technologies.

Application Process
Documents required for Admission:
- Masters of Nursing (MN-2yrs) / Masters in Public Health (MPH-1.5yrs) / MSc Clinical Biology (3yrs)
- Candidate must have earned a bachelor's degree in health science from an accredited university with a minimum cumulative grade point average of 50%.
- After earning a bachelor's degree, candidates for the MN or MPH degree should have at least two years of teaching experience.
- Bsc Nursing Program / Bachelors of Pharmacy / BSc MLT / BPH / Diploma in Pharmacy / PCL Nursing:
- Candidate must have successfully completed a science-related course in 10+2 or an equivalent level with English, Biology, Physics, and Chemistry as main courses from an accredited college, scoring at least 50% in each subject overall.
- Candidates for the BSc nursing program must be female.
- Only students who pass on the IOM selection test and are included among the merit students will be accepted to the Bachelor of Nursing and PCL Nursing programs.
