Malla Reddy Engineering College (Autonomous) – MREC, is one of the top-notch and highly reputed engineering colleges in Hyderabad, Telangana. Malla Reddy, who is currently Telangana State's Honourable Minister of Labor and Employment, Factories, and Skill Development, has a wealth of knowledge regarding the highest caliber technical education. The institution was founded in 2002 and is affiliated with JNTUH and AICTE. The institution provides 12 UG programs for applicants in a range of specializations.

The affiliated institution JNTUH applauds the efforts made by the Entrepreneurship Development Cell (EDC) to inform the students about the scope of entrepreneurship. The Career Guidance Cell provides the students with the right advice in accordance with their strengths, weaknesses, and inclinations.
Modern MREC infrastructure fosters a conducive atmosphere that supports an advanced teaching and learning process. To meet the academic demands and research requirements of the students and staff members, 100% ICT-enabled classrooms and laboratories go above and beyond the parameters set forth by the AICTE.

Qualifications Required
- B.Tech: JEE Main Class 12 in any recognized subject from any recognized institution with Physics, Mathematics, Chemistry, Computer Science, Biology, or equivalent. A minimum overall grade point average of 45% (or 40% for SC/ST/SBC NCL students from Rajasthan) in a BSc with mathematics as a required subject or a diploma in engineering or tech.
