    Key West University accepts students on three intakes a year. Fall intake in July, winter intake in November and summer intake in April.

    Scholarships

    Key West University (KWU) is conscious of how eager many students are to further their futures. This is precisely why we make such a solid effort to lower the cost of higher education for everyone. The tuition for degree programs at KWU is moderately priced to accommodate the demands of a wide variety of students. All KWU students who are citizens of the United States or who are lawfully residing there are qualified to enrol in tuition payment plans run by TFC Tuition Financing. International students are not currently permitted to sign up for tuition payment plans.

    Key West University does not currently participate in federal, state, or local student financial assistance programs, including Title IV loans.

    Application Process

    Bachelor-level Admissions Requirements

    • Evidence of high school graduation that demonstrates or verifies the graduation date, such as a transcript or diploma.
    • A diploma from a foreign institution is equivalent to a high school in the United States. Transcripts and translated copies of the applicant's high school diploma from abroad must be submitted.
    • Certificates of graduation from Florida Home Education or a copy of a valid driver's license, state-issued identity card, US military ID, valid US passport, or a valid passport from a foreign nation are acceptable forms of identification.
    • If English is not the applicant's first language, they must provide one of the following documents as confirmation that they have the necessary English language proficiency:
      • 60 or more on the TOEFL IBT.
      • IELTS score of at least 6.0.
      • Level 6 or above on the SELT.
      • Proof that an ESL program has been completed.

    Masters level Admissions Requirements

    • BBachelor'sdegree earned with a minimum GPA of 2.5. A copy of the applicant's diploma and any relevant transcripts are required (If the transcript is not in English, its translation is needed).
    • Each student must provide a personal statement (500–750 words).
    • Proof of identity (copy of a current driver's license, state-issued ID card, US military ID, passport from the United States, passport from a foreign nation).
    • Resume, Letters of recommendation and proof of two years of professional work experience.
    • If English is not the applicant's first language, they must provide one of the following documents as confirmation that they have the necessary English language proficiency:
      • A paper-based TOEFL score of 530 or higher or an online TOEFL score of 71 or higher (iBT).
      • The International English Language Test (IELTS) score of 6.5 or above
      • Score on the StStandardizednglish Language Test  (SELT) of Level 6 or above.
      • Evidence that the student completed at least 30 hours of BaBachelor's-level coursework in English at a rerecognizedigher education institution.

    Doctorate level Admissions Requirements

    A minimum GPA of 3.0 and an MBA or master's degree in a business-related subject  (If the transcript is not in English, its translation is needed).

    Each student must provide a personal statement (500–750 words).

    Resume, Letters of recommendation and proof of five years of professional work experience.
