Kathmandu College of Management, often known as KCM, is a higher education institution in Gwarko, Lalitpur, Nepal. KCM is Nepal's first management institution to provide a BBA curriculum. It is associated with Siam University and is regarded as one of Nepal's top management institutions. An entrance exam is used to determine admission, followed by a group discussion and interview.

Recognising the need for excellent management education in Nepal, Kathmandu College of Management was founded in 1997 as the country's first college to offer a BBA program. The country's commercial prospects were expanding, necessitating the education of young brains in the corporate sector from a worldwide viewpoint. Thus, the college aimed to instil in students intellectual rigour that would enable them to confront obstacles and take advantage of opportunities in the global arena.

Keeping this in mind, KCM has made an effort to provide a demanding atmosphere through its courses, teachers, and resources. The goal has been to generate management graduates who can successfully contribute to the corporate world by fulfilling their full potential. Its Alumni will be well-informed, capable, creative, confident, and prepared to face the world's many problems.

    KCM Culture:

    • "Students First" is the guiding principle underpinning all we do at KCM. Students are the focal element of any college event or activity. When you talk to any of the college employees or meet any of our teachers, it is clear that students are critical to the overall success of the college and its programs. KCM is, indeed, a student-centred institution.
    • Teamwork is a significant characteristic that distinguishes KCM from other universities. Teamwork among students, faculty, faculty and students, and faculty and management is essential to the KCM culture in all curricular and co-curricular matters. The emphasis on cooperation has contributed significantly to the high effectiveness of our programs.
    • Students learn best by doing. Students have several possibilities to study each topic through participation in various assignments, projects, papers, presentations, and cases that add value to the learning process.
    • The first thing students learn at KCM is to take charge. The emphasis is on their initiative, whether it's academics or extracurricular activities. Their ambitions, aided by academics and management, foster a learning atmosphere at KCM.
    • KCM Student Council is a student-led initiative. It was founded to foster a collaborative culture among students and develop their leadership abilities.

The primary goal of KCMSC is to offer students a platform for overall growth, with a focus on co-curricular activities. KCMSC encourages and organises numerous events inside and outside the institution to attain this goal. The clubs carry out these activities, with the council and management providing advice and assistance. The KCMSC has the following clubs: Sports club, Arts club, Volunteers club, Career club, IT club, and Publications club.
