Each of the two MCs in Manipal and Mangalore accepts 250 students for the MBBS program. The "All India Rank" attained in the NEET (UG) exam administered by NTA determines admission. Within the public-private partnership framework, 20% of the MBBS seats at KMC Mangalore are reserved for applicants from Karnataka. The NEET (PG) and NEET (SS) rankings determine admission to postgraduate and super-specialized programs. The Manipal Entrance Test score determines admission to allied health programs like psychology, physiotherapy, and nursing.

Qualifications Required

  • MBBS: Applicants must receive at least a 50 percentile in the general category and a 40 percentile in the reserved category to be eligible for NEET. After the DGHS officially declares all open seats, the institution may also summon qualified candidates for on-the-spot counselling.
