Janapriya Multiple Campus (JMC) was founded in 1991(2048B.S.) by 14 academicians, local benefactors, and local social groups such as Srijana Vikas Kendra. It is a non-profit academic institution with the broad goal of assisting in developing talented and dynamic human resources to tackle the challenges of education in the twenty-first century in various areas. JMC is associated with Nepal's Tribhuvan University.
JMC has a long history of delivering exemplary results in public education through the use of highly qualified faculty members. It is now a QAA-accredited institution on its way to becoming a Deemed University. Bachelor's and Master's degrees are available at the campus in Management, Humanities, Science, and Education. MBS (semester system), MA in English and Sociology, BBA, BBS, and B. Sc. are now available (Microbiology). JMC received a QAA certificate in 2013 and was recently named the Best Community Campus in the country by the National Education Award- 2072.
The University Grants Commission has awarded the campus QAA status (Nepal). The campus has 4550 students as of 2019. The campus has an agreement with a local bank to hire a handful of the top pupils. The campus's academic periodical, Janapriya Journal of Interdisciplinary Studies, is published annually.

Qualification Requirements
- Bachelor: Applicants who have finished their 10+2 or equivalent examinations in Grades 11 and 12 with at least a 'D+' in all subjects are eligible to enrol in the Bachelor program. Students with a Tribhuvan University Proficiency Certificate Level (PCL) or an HSE/grade 12 pass may also get admission to the B.Ed program.
- MBS: The student must have completed the BBS program or a bachelor's degree in any discipline from Tribhuvan University or an institution accredited by Tribhuvan University.
- MBA: A student must have a minimum of 15 years of formal education, 12 years of school and 3 years of university education. A student with a Bachelor's degree in any discipline from a recognised university with a CGPA of at least 2.0 or 45% in the annual system will be able to apply for program acceptance. An extremely competitive screening method will be used to select students. Four levels of evaluation.
