IGlobal University, also known as Washington University of Science and Technology (WUST), is a private university in Vienna, Virginia, USA. The university was founded in 2008 AD.

IGlobal University is authorized to grant MBA, MSIT, BBA, and BSIT degrees both on-campus and online. This was made possible by accreditation from the Accrediting Commission of Career Schools and Colleges (ACCSC). Due to IGU's national accreditation status, the US Department of Education and the Council for Higher Education Accreditation recognize it (CHEA). Furthermore, under the Student and Exchange Visitor Program, Immigration and Customs Enforcement are now authorized to issue Form I-20 for the admission of international students (SEVP).

Main Intakes

IGlobal University accepts students on three intakes a year. Fall intake in July, winter intake in November and summer intake in April.

Scholarships

Academic Scholarship (Presidential)

The purpose of this fellowship is to acknowledge and encourage intellectual achievement in graduate and undergraduate programs. The university president will be available to eat with the scholarship recipients.

Eligibility Criteria for Academic Scholarship:

For Freshmen and Int’l Students:

Credential evaluation showing CGPA.

For Transfer students:

CGPA of completion of a minimum of 13.5 credits from an accredited university.

For Current IGU students:

CGPA of completion of a minimum of one full term with 9 credits in Graduate programs and 13.5 credits in Undergraduate programs.

Dr A.K. Abdul Momen

This scholarship was established to support American higher education in Bangladesh and is named in honour of the Honorable Dr A. K. Abdul Momen, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Bangladesh.

The academic committee at IGU chooses the candidate who meets the minimum eligibility requirements as the finalist and notifies the Minister's office on behalf of the applicant.

Matching Scholarship

Students formally given a scholarship by a U.S.-based corporation or organization, including state or federal agencies, are eligible for the matching scholarship.

Special Talent

Students who have excelled academically and outside the classroom are given this respite. This should incorporate, but not be limited to, expertise in the arts, music, and sports. The professional backgrounds of candidates are also taken into account.
