    Glasgow Caledonian University(GCU), Caledonian or Caley, is a public university in Glasgow, Scotland. The Queen's College, Glasgow, and Glasgow Polytechnic merged to become it in 1993. 

    In June 2017, the university's New York partner institution, formed in 2013, was granted authority to confer degrees in the state, the first higher education institution founded by a foreign university to obtain this status.
