GD Goenka Dat

GD Goenka DAT is an entrance exam conducted by GD Goenka University for admission to design programs. The exam follows a pattern similar to NIFT and NID's entrance exams and lasts three hours. The offline exam tests students' abilities in visual appreciation, analytical and critical thinking, and conceptual thinking. UCEED

UCEED, or Undergraduate Common Entrance Examination for Design, is a computer-based exam conducted by the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay. The UCEED exam tests the applicants on their design thinking and problem-solving abilities and their environmental and social awareness knowledge. AIEED

AIEED is an entrance exam aspiring designers take to secure admission into Arch College of Design and Business. NID

The National Institute of Design (NID) exam is one of India's most sought-after design entrance exams. This exam is conducted to evaluate the skills of aspiring design students and provide them with an opportunity to pursue undergraduate and postgraduate courses at the NID campus. The NID exam tests candidates on various skills, including their ability to create optical illusions, innovate and create, design outlines for beginners, understand drawing fundamentals, and work with colours and patterns. UID

UID Exam is conducted by Unitedworld Institute of Design and is held in January. The exam is a gateway to pursuing BDes and MDes courses at UID. After clearing the UID exam, candidates are required to appear for a situation test and a portfolio evaluation round. The exam syllabus includes current affairs and problem-solving skills. It has a duration of two and a half hours.

PAF

PAEE is a common entrance exam for undergraduate and postgraduate program admission. It tests the students on their knowledge of current affairs, reasoning ability, quantitative aptitude, communication ability, and creative thinking. DAT is conducted for admission to design programs, and GPT is conducted for business and media programs. CAT is conducted for admission to undergraduate fashion programs. The duration of each exam is around 2-3 hours.
