CAT exam vs GRE

CAT (Common Admission Test) and GRE (Graduate Record Examination) are widely recognised standardised tests for pursuing higher education in management or business-related fields. Here are some key differences between the CAT exam and GRE:

• Exam structure: CAT exam consists of three sections: Verbal Ability and Reading Comprehension, Data Interpretation and Logical Reasoning, and Quantitative Ability. On the other hand, GRE has six sections: one Analytical Writing section, two Verbal Reasoning sections, two Quantitative Reasoning sections, and an unscored research or experimental section.
• Exam duration: The CAT exam lasts 180 minutes (three hours), while the GRE lasts 3 and 45 minutes.
