CLAT (Common Law Admission Test)

Students can only take the test after receiving their Class XII results. They can, however, begin studying for it as soon as they finish Class 10. Later, students can choose a list of universities to which they can apply, depending on merit.

NTSE (National Talent Search Examination)

The National Talent Search Test, or NTSE, is a national-level competitive examination that seeks to provide 2,000 scholarships to Class 10 pupils. It has long been regarded as prestigious and vital in India since it identifies and rewards students with high intellectual ability.

About 9-10 lakh Class 10 students from Indian states and union territories sit this scholarship test yearly. As part of a nationwide scholarship program, students must use various study strategies to prepare for and do well on the test. Students must work harder in Round 2 of the test because only a few applicants are chosen in the first round.

This is a highly competitive exam, and students go to great lengths to ace it. Among other ways of preparation, they attend frequent coaching sessions, take practice examinations, study recorded films, and engage in live online lectures.

KVPY (Kishore Vaigyanik Protsahan Yojana)

The KVPY is a National Fellowship Program in Basic Sciences operated by the Government of India's Department of Science and Technology. Its purpose is to identify our country's highly outstanding and brilliant young brains and provide them with the opportunity to study introductory science courses and a career in science research.

The test is offered to students from the eleventh through undergraduates in their first year of a recognized college majoring in Sciences. Before the final list is announced, qualified students are interviewed. The selected students are awarded significant grants.

NSO (National Science Olympiad)

The NSO is organized yearly by the Science Olympiad Foundation (SOF). It is a non-profit educational organization promoting kids' intellectual growth via competitions and Olympiads. The Foundation's objective is to instil in pupils a scientific attitude.

The group has strived to develop a scientific attitude among students nationwide for more than two decades through creative programs. SOF organizes significant events such as the National Cyber Olympiad, National Science Olympiad, International Mathematics Olympiad, International English Olympiad, International Company Secretaries Olympiad, and International General Knowledge Olympiad.

The Science Olympiad Foundation organizes the National Science Olympiad for high school students nationwide. The National Science Olympiad is open to all grades 1 through 12 students.

NCO (National Cyber Olympiad)

NCO, or National Cyber Olympiad, is another competitive test held by SOF for pupils in grades 1 through 10. Like the NSO, this Olympiad offers thrilling honours to students at the School, Zonal, and International levels.

All pupils are welcome to participate in the National Cyber Olympiad (NCO). This exam will help pupils recognize and strengthen their computing abilities, cultivating the little scientist within them. The Science Olympiad Foundation organizes the National Cyber Olympiad (SOF). This talent-finding competition is popular among students.

SAT (Scholastic Aptitude Test)

The College Board administers the SAT, a standardized test required of students seeking admission to college schools. The test assesses the student against three essential standards:

  • Essay writing and English grammar
  • Critical reading
  • Maths

Students planning to enrol in undergraduate programs in the United States take the SAT. Most institutions in the United States need the SAT to enter undergraduate courses. Aside from that, several colleges provide SAT scholarships to students depending on their SAT scores.
