Syllabus

The AURCET exam syllabus varies depending on the discipline chosen by the candidate. However, the general syllabus for the exam includes the following topics:

  • Research Methodology: It covers various research methods, including qualitative and quantitative analysis, case studies, surveys, and experimental research.

Part B consists of 100 subject-specific questions carrying two marks each. 

The total duration of the exam is 180 minutes (three hours). The marking scheme of the exam is as follows:

  • For each correct answer, one mark will be awarded in Part A, and two marks will be awarded in Part B.
  • There is no negative marking for wrong answers.
  • If a candidate answers multiple options for a question, it will be considered an incorrect answer.
  • If a candidate leaves a question unanswered, no marks will be deducted.
