The National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT) is an organisation that conducts the Common Entrance Examination (CEE) to offer admission to teaching courses at Prarambh and Regional Institutes of Education (RIEs). The RIEs are located in different cities, including Shillong, Ajmer, Bhopal, Mysuru, and Bhubaneswar, and are a part of the NCERT. These institutes have been offering various programs for over 55 years.

The RIEs offer 100% campus placement opportunities to all their students. They also provide scholarship opportunities to merit students, covering 50% of their fees. Admission to these courses is based on the performance of candidates in the CEE test. Other scholarship schemes are available to other students based on their eligibility criteria.

The RIEs are residential, and they offer accommodation to all their students. The campus provides a conducive environment for learning, and students can use the different facilities available, such as libraries, labs, and sports facilities. This ensures that students can focus on their studies without any distractions.
