Consider the following while writing a relieving letter:
- Write the date of issuance at the top of the letter
- Write the details about the employee under the date of issuance. These details include the employee's full name, job description, department, and name of the company.
- Write a subject so that someone reading it finds out the purpose of that letter. You can just write “Relieving Letter”, but it is better to mention the employee's name
- “Dear” followed by the employee’s name is an excellent way to start
- After the opening salutation, say that the company has accepted the resignation. Write about the role and state the last workday of the employee.
